As players grow in confidence and ability, our U12 Junior team at Towcestrians Hockey Club offers the ideal environment to take their hockey skills to the next level. Designed for children aged 12 and under, the U12 team focuses on building solid technical foundations while introducing more structured gameplay and team strategy.

What We Offer
Experienced Coaching
Led by DBS-checked, qualified coaches, our training sessions help players develop advanced stick skills, positional awareness, and tactical understanding in a supportive and energetic setting.

Inclusive & Supportive
We welcome children of all skill levels—from those progressing through our junior pathway to newcomers discovering hockey for the first time. Everyone is encouraged to learn, improve, and enjoy the game.

Teamwork & Competitive Play
As part of the U12s, players begin to take part in inter-club matches and junior competitions, promoting teamwork and resilience. Players in this age group are also encouraged to try our Badgers hockey, an 11-a-side full pitch format of the game with up to two adults on the pitch as player-coaches, aimed at preparing for the transition to adult hockey available at 13 years old for England Hockey competitions.

Weekly Training Sessions
Training takes place every Thursday from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Towcestrians Sports Club, Greens Norton Road, Towcester.
